The General Students' Committee is the official representation and mouthpiece of the student body. The AStA is made up exclusively of volunteer students from the university, divided into various departments that deal with all matters concerning students.

For example, the AStA provides help with finding accommodation, financial problems and other matters.

There is also the opportunity to contribute your own interests and knowledge. Be it in the creation of a budget plan for your own budget or the supervision, maintenance and care of the university sailing boats. Right through to designing your own posters and content on our social media and website.

These are just a few examples, which are explained in more detail on the following pages. But even if students are unable to get directly involved because they don't have the time, even impulses can help to promote or initiate new projects for students.

In addition to the paper store, you will also find our coordinators in building 14, your first point of contact at the AStA if you have any questions.

They will help you with your semester ticket, for example, regardless of whether it's about ordering, refunds or general questions. 
In addition to helping with problems, the coordinators are also responsible for posting notices on the notice boards inside the buildings or on the website or selling tickets for events. You also have the opportunity to borrow equipment such as our small music system, cups or other useful items for events.
